Mack is General Manager, International Affairs & Fellow at Nippon Life Insurance Company. Based in London after nine years in New York, he oversees global business planning and international policy matters covering regulation, accounting, digital innovation, and sustainability.

He serves as Sherpa of the Asia Pacific Financial Forum (APFF) Insurance, Health and Retirement Income Network, promoting sustainable, resilient, and inclusive development in the Asia-Pacific region. He also leads the APFF Digital Innovation in Insurance Workstream, developing policy recommendations on responsible digital innovation and artificial intelligence under the APEC Finance Ministers' Process. He actively promotes the SDGs in collaboration with the United Nations, G20, APEC, OECD, PRI, and the IFRS Foundation.

Mack is also known as a multi-talented entertainer and founder of Music for SDGs, which raises public awareness of the SDGs through music, fashion, art, and film in collaboration with the United Nations, NGOs, and artists.

​Previously, he served at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel as a member of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) Secretariat, seconded by Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA), supporting insurance standards implementation, technical assistance, supervisory training for authorities from more than 150 jurisdictions, and coordination with international organizations.

Earlier, he spent five years in New York as a lead researcher at NLI Research Institute, covering insurance, banking, securities, and pension sectors in the United States and Canada. His websites, including Mackglobe and research portals, have been used by industry professionals, regulators, and researchers in more than 90 countries. He is fluent in Japanese, English, French, and Spanish, and has conversational knowledge of German.
